These terms apply when you use BetterHomeClimate.com. Better Home Climate is the publishing name used for this online service.

Guidance and estimates

Our guides and calculators are general information and budgeting tools. Results depend on the information entered and the assumptions displayed. They are not a contractor quotation, survey, design, diagnosis, safety inspection, financial advice or guarantee of price, savings, performance or suitability.

Check important decisions with an appropriately qualified professional who can inspect the property, confirm current requirements and provide written terms. Do not use this site as a substitute for urgent help involving gas, electricity, fire, flooding, mould-related health concerns or another safety risk.

Quote enquiries

Submitting an installer enquiry asks Better Home Climate to assess the request and, where available, identify a potentially suitable installer. It does not guarantee a match, response, appointment, price or completed installation. We tell the homeowner which installer has been identified before sharing contact details. Any resulting quotation and contract are between the homeowner and installer.

Third-party websites and commercial links

Links can lead to retailers, manufacturers, installers and other independent websites. Their content, availability, pricing and services are controlled by them. Some links may earn Better Home Climate a commission; our affiliate disclosure explains how this works.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, test its security without permission, submit false or another person's contact details, automate abusive requests, or copy and republish substantial parts of its calculators or editorial work. Ordinary personal use, linking and fair quotation with attribution are welcome.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but information, regulations, tariffs, prices and third-party services can change. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Otherwise, use the site as a planning aid and independently verify decisions that could cause material cost, damage or risk.

Privacy and changes

Our privacy notice explains how information is handled. We may update these terms when the service changes; the reviewed date shows the current version.
