Products move through three clearly labelled states: specification research, hands-on observation and tested recommendation. We do not blur them.

Define the job

Every comparison begins with a specific room, climate and problem. A laundry test is not treated as proof of whole-home performance.

We log room size, temperature, starting humidity, duration and relevant moisture sources so a result has context.

Depending on the product, that includes water collected, plug-level electricity, noise at a fixed distance and time to target.

A single good run is an observation. Repeatable performance, normal daily use and clear limitations are required for a tested recommendation.

What we publish

Manufacturer specifications are attributed. Affiliate relationships never change the test method or the right to criticise a product.

We show who a product suits, who should avoid it, and what our setup cannot prove. If an important test has not happened, the page says so.

Corrections and material retests change the visible review date. Quiet affiliate-page rewrites do not masquerade as fresh testing.
