What should a boiler quote include?

The paperwork should identify the installer, proposed boiler and controls, the heating-system work, flue and condensate route, gas and electrical scope, cleaning and commissioning, removal and making-good, compliance documents, warranty, timing, payment stages, VAT and exclusions.

Should I choose the cheapest boiler quote?

Not from the total alone. A cheaper quote may exclude controls, valves, cleaning, flue work, making-good or certification included elsewhere. Compare the same scope and question material differences before deciding.

How do I check a boiler installer?

For gas work, check both the business and attending engineer directly through Gas Safe Register and confirm the engineer carries the relevant work categories. A listing is not a price, experience or customer-service endorsement.

What paperwork should I receive after installation?

Ask before work starts how building-regulations notification, commissioning information, the product warranty and any compliance certificate will be handled. Requirements and routes vary across UK nations and by the work involved.

Does a high score mean the quote or installer is good?

No. It means more of this checklist appears in the paperwork you entered. The tool cannot validate registration, technical calculations, equipment suitability, workmanship, reviews, guarantees or legal terms.
